DESCRIPTION:Please join us for for the opening reception of our Spring Exhibition\, Rainbow in the Dark\, on Saturday\, March 18 from 6 – 8 PM at MoCA Westport [19 Newtown Turnpike\, Westport]. \nMeet artist Anselm Reyle and curator Emann Odufu during this special evening event. Drinks and cocktails will be available for purchase. \nAdvance registration for the opening is requested; click here.  \nThe opening reception is free for MoCA Members; gallery admission will be charged for Non-Members. Become a Member today to save time at the opening and to enjoy all the benefits of MoCA Membership! \nAnselm Reyle is one of the most renowned contemporary artists in the world. His best-known works include his foil and strip paintings and his sculptures. Remnants of consumer society\, discarded materials\, symbols of urbanity\, and industrial change play a central role in his works. \nRainbow in the Dark includes 20 of Reyle’s works\, including a site-specific neon installation. \nThe exhibition was curated by Newark\, New Jersey-based Emann Odufu\, an art activist\, independent filmmaker\, producer\, screenwriter and digital media specialist. \nRainbow in the Dark will be on view at MoCA Westport from March 19 – May 28\, 2023. \nMoCA Westport thanks The Union House\, Vancouver for their generous support in funding the Rainbow in the Dark exhibition. \nPlease note: Membership status will be confirmed prior to the event.
