DESCRIPTION:Summer Camargo\, 21\, is a trumpet student at The Juilliard School and Jerome Greene Fellowship recipient and is in her fourth year of college majoring in Jazz Studies. Summer\, born and raised in Hollywood\, Florida\, most recently joined Lenny Pickett and The Saturday Night Live House Band on NBC\, recorded her debut album (which will be out in spring 2023) under Jazz at Lincoln Center’s Blue Engine\, won first place in the International Trumpet Guild’s Ryan Anthony Trumpet Memorial Competition\, covered for Wynton Marsalis on the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra’s 2022 Big Band Holidays Tour\, and has been performing with her sextet in prestigious venues in NYC such as Dizzy’s and Birdland. \nLearn more and get tickets.

DESCRIPTION:The talented musicians from Greater Connecticut Youth Orchestras’ Jazz I Orchestra will open for a concert featuring Jazz at Lincoln Center Emerging Artist Vanisha Gould and her quartet. \nSince coming to New York City a few years ago\, Vanisha Gould has become an important young voice on the New York jazz scene\, where she’s graced the stages of Dizzy’s Club at Jazz at Lincoln Center\, Smalls\, The Jazz Gallery\, and other esteemed New York City venues. She serves as the company’s senior vice president of design and is also the author of Waterworks: Inventing Bath Style\, The Perfect Bath\, and The Perfect Kitchen. She is chair of the dean’s advisory council at Boston University’s Wheelock College of Education and Human Development\, serves as the honorary chair of Rooms with a View\, and is on the board of the Decorators Club Education Fund. \nInterior designer Shari Lebowitz is the founder and creative director of Westport-based Bespoke Designs. Originally launched as a paper design studio for couture wedding invitations\, Bespoke Designs is now a full retail shop\, e-commerce platform and design studio.
