She serves as the company’s senior vice president of design and is also the author of Waterworks: Inventing Bath Style\, The Perfect Bath\, and The Perfect Kitchen. She is chair of the dean’s advisory council at Boston University’s Wheelock College of Education and Human Development\, serves as the honorary chair of Rooms with a View\, and is on the board of the Decorators Club Education Fund. \nInterior designer Shari Lebowitz is the founder and creative director of Westport-based Bespoke Designs. Originally launched as a paper design studio for couture wedding invitations\, Bespoke Designs is now a full retail shop\, e-commerce platform and design studio. He will speak about Iraqi musical traditions and their lineage throughout history\, including the attempted eradication of these traditions by extremist groups. He will speak from his own personal experiences as a musician in the cities of Mosul and Baghdad during ISIS occupation.
