Join teaching artist Pari Pfenninger for an inspiring three-hour intuitive painting workshop designed to awaken creativity, encourage experimentation, and open the door to new ways of seeing. Rather than focusing on what a painting should look like, you’ll explore the freedom of responding to color, texture, gesture, and emotion in the moment.

Through spontaneous brushwork, unexpected color combinations, expressive marks, and layers of paint, you’ll discover images and abstract compositions as they naturally emerge. There is no prescribed subject matter and no expectation of a finished masterpiece.

Whether you’re an experienced artist or simply looking to reconnect with your creative side, this workshop invites you to quiet your inner critic, trust your instincts, and embrace the unexpected. Come with an open mind and leave with a fresh perspective on your own creative possibilities.

Space is limited to 12 participants to ensure an intimate and engaging experience.

Pari will provide primary colors, white, black, select contemporary colors, and painting mediums. Painting paper and some brushes will also be available. Feel free to supply your own large canvas, if desired (20″ x 24″ or 24″ x 30″), your own favorite paints or additional colors and personal brushes.
