More about Kristine Herman:
Kristine Herman is the Managing Director of Policy and Advocacy at a large legal nonprofit organization. She is responsible for leading the strategic policy initiatives, communications, and advocacy activities at the city, state and federal levels.
For more than two decades, Kristine dedicated her career to advancing systemic reform at the intersection of law and human rights in the United States and internationally. Kristine has served as a guest reviewer for the International Journal of Transitional Justice; was on the Editorial Board of Affilia: Journal of Women and Social Work; a Fulbright Specialist in Fiji; and Guest Lecturer delivering an annual intensive course on Gender & the Law: A Global Introduction at the University of South Pacific Law School. She has worked on gender justice and human rights issues in Afghanistan, Azerbaijan, Australia, and throughout Europe and the United States
Kristine earned her B.A. at Antioch College, her MSW at Tulane University, and her J.D. at Northeastern University.
