THE FAIRFIELD/WESTCHESTER MUSEUM ALLIANCE (FWMA)

Established in 2009 to help promote the rich and diverse offerings of cultural institutions in Fairfield, Westchester and the Bronx, the Fairfield Westchester Museum Alliance (FWMA) continues to give local families and visitors the opportunity to enjoy nine great museums for the price of one.

The Fairfield and Westchester Museum Alliance benefits arts enthusiasts throughout the region, offering free admission and a 10% gift shop discount to members of all participating museums:

Your Digital Membership Card

Membership is your key to discovering everything MoCA CT has to offer! MoCA is committed to reducing plastic waste and offering convenient alternatives for our member community. By having your card stored on your smartphone, you not only have your benefits right at your fingertips, but also are helping us to promote sustainability.

How to Install Your Digital Membership Card on Your Mobile Phone

iPhones have a native app called Apple Wallet. Click the “Download” button in the email you received on your iPhone, then “Add to Wallet,” then “Add.” Your digital membership card will automatically download to the Apple Wallet app.

  • To access the digital wallet, swipe down on your home screen to activate the Search function. Type “Wallet” into the search bar. Then, tap the Wallet icon that appears under the “Applications” header. From there, you will be able to access your digital card!

If you have an Android device, we would like to share our recommendation for Google Wallet as the #1 option for Android users. Google Wallet is a native OS app that is easy to use, reliable, secure, and already pre-installed on most Android devices:

  • If you choose the Google Wallet app:
    • Make sure the Google Wallet app is installed. If not, you may download it from here.
    • Open the email directly from your phone
    • Tap on the “Download Membership” button
    • Click on “add to Google Wallet”
    • A preview will appear. Click on “Save to Google Wallet”
    • In some cases, Google Wallet might ask you to log in so you can save it to an account. Please log in to continue (no credit card information should be required).
    • The card will be saved to Google Wallet and you will be able to access it from the Google Wallet app at any moment. 
  • We strongly encourage members to use Google Wallet as the primary digital wallet solution for Android, but will continue to help you in case you’d like to use an alternative Android wallet option, like Wallet by Wallet Union.

Common Questions

I downloaded my card, but now I can’t find it! Where did it go?
Simply search in your app library for eMembership, open the app and click “Show My Card.” You can also add your card to your Apple or Google Wallet after downloading.

I renewed my membership, but the expiration date hasn’t been updated. How do I fix this?
To get your new expiration date, simply redownload your card following the steps above.

When I try to download my card, I receive an error message stating that I’ve downloaded the maximum number of cards allowed. What do I do?

​​How will I use my digital Membership card?
Show your digital card at MoCA or any of the participating Fairfield Westchester Museum Alliance partners when you arrive. You can also use the digital card to check on your Membership expiration date and member benefits.

Will my digital card update when I renew my Membership?
Yes! The digital card will automatically update when your Membership information changes. For example, your expiration date and Membership level will automatically update the next time you renew or upgrade. This means that you only have to download the card once!

How will my reciprocal benefits work when visiting other organizations?
When visiting other Museums, to access your MoCA Membership card you can pull up the eMembership app, click “Show My Cards” OR find it directly in your smartphone wallet. The participating Museum will process your admission with the published benefits.
