About The Speakers:
Barbara Sallick co-founded Waterworks—the premier luxury brand of kitchen and bath fittings, fixtures, furniture, and accessories—with her husband, Robert Sallick, in 1978. She serves as the company’s senior vice president of design and is also the author of Waterworks: Inventing Bath Style, The Perfect Bath, and The Perfect Kitchen. She is chair of the dean’s advisory council at Boston University’s Wheelock College of Education and Human Development, serves as the honorary chair of Rooms with a View, and is on the board of the Decorators Club Education Fund.
Interior designer Shari Lebowitz is the founder and creative director of Westport-based Bespoke Designs. Originally launched as a paper design studio for couture wedding invitations, Bespoke Designs is now a full retail shop, e-commerce platform and design studio. Lebowitz, a creative visionary and graduate of Parsons School of Design, brings her truly bespoke aesthetic to all aspects of entertaining – from invitations, to curated gift registries, and all aspects of tabletop.
Jen Berniker is a writer and producer who has created content for HGTV, TLC, PBS, Lifestyle Publications, Suburban Jungle, Domino and others. She recently launched her website: My Designport, a CT-based home design hub that spun out of the social media platform, Designport. Her aim is to create inspirational, accessible content, a home for conversation, and a link to local resources to help homeowners beautify their spaces. Berniker has an undergraduate degree from Brown University and studied photography at RISD and Interior Design at FIT.
