Supporting the Arts
The Joyce Thompson Art Fund

Established in 2024, The Joyce Thompson Art Fund is a vital initiative dedicated to sustaining the arts through MoCA Connecticut. Her tireless support and generosity helped us realize many of our most ambitious goals and left an indelible mark on the museum’s growth most recently through the creation of the Joyce Thompson Art Fund.
“As a founding member of The Westport-Weston Arts Council, now known as MoCA CT, I am immensely proud of how far our organization has come. We have grown into a vibrant cultural institution that enriches the lives of so many in our community.
Our organization has always been a beacon of creativity and artistic expression, a place where artists can flourish, and art enthusiasts can find inspiration. Our mission has remained steadfast: to foster a deep appreciation for contemporary art and to support the artists who create it. It has been a privilege to witness the incredible talent and dedication of everyone involved in this journey.
Legacy and sustainability have always been paramount to me. Ensuring that MoCA CT remains a thriving cultural institution for future generations is a commitment I hold dear. It is vital that we continue to build on our strong foundation, fostering an environment where art and culture can flourish sustainably. This dedication to longevity and responsible stewardship will enable us to inspire and engage our community for many years to come.
I am deeply grateful for the unwavering support from our members, donors, and the broader community. Together, we have built a legacy that will continue to inspire and uplift for generations to come. As we look to the future, I am confident that MoCA CT will continue to be a vital and dynamic part of our cultural landscape.”
