Camp MoCA Summer 2026 Registration is Open
Summer starts here: Camp MoCA registration is open, but spots are limited.
Camp MoCA combines joyful art-making, hands-on learning, and indoor/outdoor fun all summer long. Campers ages 4–10 enjoy art lessons with certified educators, garden art in our vegetable and flower garden, museum exploration, outdoor play, and structured downtime, including reading, yoga, and imagination stations. Reserve your child’s spot for a season of fun and discovery.

East Coast Contemporary Ballet Salon Series
The East Coast Contemporary Ballet (ECCB) returns to MoCA\CT with a special Salon Series evening, featuring an excerpt from their upcoming Spring Season and a live artist talk-back. Experience a powerful new work inspired by Luca Serasini’s Waiting for Angels, and stay for a rare opportunity to engage directly with the artists behind the performance.

Inside Intuitive Painting: Awakening Your Creative Flow with Melissa Benedek
Join New York-based artist Melissa Benedek for an immersive abstract painting workshop focused on color, texture, and intuitive expression. In a relaxed, supportive setting, you’ll explore creative flow through guided play and experimentation. Open to all levels, this session offers space to unwind, connect, and create work that is uniquely your own. All materials are included.

One Degree of Separation: Jazz in CT. A Conversation With Yale School of Music’s Tom Duffy + Wayne Escoffery
Presented in conjunction with Art, Jazz + the Blues, this community conversation explores Connecticut’s rich jazz legacy and its far-reaching influence beyond the Yale School of Music. Professor Thomas Duffy and Director of Jazz Ensembles Wayne Escoffery share stories of mentorship, collaboration, and music’s enduring social power, with a live saxophone interlude by Grammy Award-winning Escoffery.

Residents in Darien, Fairfield, Greenwich, New Canaan, Norwalk, Ridgefield, Stamford, Weston, Westport, and Wilton are invited to submit their beloved local places lost to time, tide, or change. Four will be selected to be included in the upcoming MoCA\CT exhibition, The Disappointed Tourist, on view from June 25 to August 2, 2026
In this global project, artist Ellen Harvey transforms vanished sites into luminous paintings that preserve memory through art.

Sound Bath Meditation with Hummingbird Healing Arts’ Lisa Pak
Unwind and reset with an immersive, multi-instrumental sound bath led by Lisa Pak, founder of Hummingbird Healing Arts. This deeply restorative experience begins with a gentle guided meditation, followed by soothing layers of Himalayan bowls, gongs, crystal bowls, and nature sounds.

On view from February 26 to June 7, 2026, this MoCA\CT and Westport Public Art Collections (WestPAC) show explores the powerful dialogue between visual art and music. Anchored by Eric von Schmidt’s ‘Giants of the Blues,’ it also includes works by Romare Bearden, Sam Gilliam, Faith Ringgold, Jack Whitten, and many others.
